A striking tribute to Australia’s modern armoured force, this limited-edition PVC shield patch features the M1A1 Abrams against a map of Australia, with the Southern Cross in the background. Measuring 9 × 8 cm, it makes a bold addition to a pack, jacket or patch collection.
Australia selected the M1A1 Abrams in the early 2000s to replace its ageing Leopard AS1 tanks. The first Australian Abrams arrived in 2006, and the fleet entered service with the Australian Army’s 1st Armoured Regiment. The M1A1 has since become a recognisable symbol of Australia’s armoured capability and its long-standing Army tradition.
Show your appreciation for Australian Army history and armour with this distinctive morale patch.
