The final Battle of El Alamein in November 1942 was a turning point in the Second World War. The defeat of the advancing Panzerarmee Afrika of the "Desert Fox", Field Marshal Erwin Rommel, by the Eighth Army of General Bernard "Monty" Montgomery ended Germany's hopes to take Egypt and the Suez Canal were dashed.

This badge measures 20mm and is secured with a durable butterfly pin and is presented on a sturdy card with historic details.
