This stunning full-size figurine is a sensational version of the commonly titled Light Horse Memorial found on Anzac Parade, Canberra. This figurine commemorates the men of the Australian Light Horse Brigade and the New Zealand Mounted Rifles, alongside the Imperial Camel Corps and Australian Flying Corps who served between 1916 and 1918. Depicting an Australian Light-Horseman defending a New Zealand Mounted Rifleman standing beside his wounded horse, the unbreakable bonds of horsemen and their mounts and the enduring spirit of mateship are beautifully commemorated by this figurine.
